Jumping without thinking...

I have a friend who is intent on copying my lifestyle. When we first started down the sustainable lifestyle path she seemed to think everything I was doing was stupid and that there were "easier and cheaper" ways to accomplish various things. Now one year later she seems to have done a 360 degree change of mind and seems to be copying everything we do. She is doing some of these things in my opinion without thinking them through. Getting chickens without a coop or the skills to build one just makes no sense. She is now telling me that she is getting a goat and will be keeping it in her garage. I love when people get enthused about living sustainably but there is a point when it is wrong and she is at that point. What kind of life will a goat have being stuck in a garage?
