Yesterday I spent the better part of two hours crafting penguins for my son. They aren't actually for him but are rather for decorations for a cake we are entering in his Boy Scout cake auction and judging. They are chocolate covered marshmallow penguins. There are a dozen of them. They have fruit snack feet and beaks. Today, I spent 2 hours crafting a cake and icing into the shape of an iceberg. I have yet to put the two together. The cake is covered with a layer of green icing to mimic grass under the snow and a layer of cool whip and coconut to mimic the snow. I have a picture in my head of how it will all look when it is done. Hopefully, reality meshes with that picture and the cake looks presentable.
