He has a plan.

My oldest son has become entirely fascinated with our chickens. He spends time watching them whenever he can and loves to observe their antics. The child is even writing his research paper on the differences between the eggs from factory farmed chickens and those raised on a local farm. I can already see the wheels turning in his head in regards to making his future career as a farmer. He told me the other day that he will only treat his animals kindly "when he gets his farm". It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he told me tomorrow that we needed an epson receipt printer because he is starting an egg business. We should have a bit of an excess when our chickens finally start laying eggs. My son has made mention that we could get more chickens and sell eggs to our neighbors. As much as I love our house there are days that I wish we had gotten the farming itch when we were house shopping instead of afterward.
