Switching it up...

This week for the first time in probably 5 years I decided to buy a 6 pack of seasonal beer. I never drink but there was time when I did enjoy the rare glass of nice dark beer. The store where I drive to buy our milk from also sells beer. Our state does not allow liquor sales in grocery stores which means I would have to make a special trip to a liquor or beer store to make a beer purchase. On a whim I picked up a 6 pack of a dark seasonal beer called "Tumbler" from Sierra Nevada brewing. It is a pretty decent brown ale from my inexperienced opinion. We are thinking about switching from wine making to home brewing beer. I thought it might be nice to try something that we could maybe model our hobby after. The beer I brought is pretty good but I am hoping to find something even richer and more complex in flavor. This gives us an idea of what we are after.
