Stitching class.
Our local library is really small but it is awesome. The library offers tons of classes and opportunities for people of all ages to become involved in the library. The librarians will go out of their way to help you find the resources you need no matter what you are trying to learn more about or accomplish. Tonight my older son attended his first stitching class offered by our library. This class is free and meets two nights per week for the month of July. The children are provided with all the tools they need to learn various stitches. He is the type of child who quite simply loves to learn how to do anything. I thought the stitching class might help him with his dexterity and hand coordination. When asked what he thought of his first class he said that he "loved it". Coming from my child that means the class was amazing. He generally gives pretty flat responses about things no matter how much he loves them. I love being able to spend 1.5 hours in the library by myself!
