Camping luxuries.

This weekend we will be going "dry" camping for the first time. For those of you who aren't familiar with this term it means that you are camping without luxuries like electric, running water, or restroom facilities. We usually camp at state parks with hot showers, electric, and restrooms. This summer we are switching things up a bit and going to some rural property owned by my family. We are not however giving up the luxury of a hot shower. I found a portable hot water heater and shower stall online. My husband is working right now on a way to make some mounts for the water heater. It will need to hang from a tree or something in order to work right. The system operates with propane and guarantees a constant demand of hot water as long as there is water flowing to the system. We plan on taking water we have collected in our rain barrels to shower with and regular water for washing dishes and whatnot. I am excited to see how this adventure turns out because we will be on our own in an isolated area. The wildlife should be quite different from a populated state park.
