A drowsy day.

As I type my littlest son is curled up on the floor watching cartoons. The older child is curled up in the chair above him. Both of them are yawning incessantly and looking reading for bed. The older one has had a stomach virus and I kept him home from his acting class today. They both have low grade fevers. I am pretty sure if given a little time that both of them would fall asleep. The problem is that neither of them sits still long enough for the other one to fall asleep. One sits quietly and then the other one starts wiggling and then a few minutes later they seem to reverse rolls. I am thinking about sending them both to bed early and just lying about it being bed time. My older son can tell time but it isn't his first inclination when it comes to stuff like this. He generally just follows directions and doesn't look up at the clock to question the time. This tired mommy would love to have a chance to hit the bed early herself.
