Still no shoes.

Our toddler started refusing to wear shoes about a year ago. I have tried every kind of shoes imaginable from MBT shoes to those ones with lights in them. Nothing seems to entice him to consistently keep his feet covered. He will relent after much fighting and wear shoes to go somewhere in the car or outside. As soon as he gets back indoors he immediately takes both his socks and shoes off. It has me wondering if this is just a really long phase or if there is something I should be worried about?
