A little of everything...

My parents are pack rats. It took me a long time to see that they are actually hoarders but the reality is that they compulsively buy things and keep things. Many of the things they buy they have some future intended purpose for. The problem is that they never get around to using most of the things they buy for that intended purpose. On any given day you might find them in possession of an infinite array of unusual items such as Howard-Medical.com hospital carts and arc welding equipment. My dad always seems to have some grand plan for something he is going to build out of something he has bought at a sale. I wish that more of the things he intends to build would actually become a reality. It is now getting to the point that I feel like something needs to be said or done about the situation but I just haven't found the words yet.
