Free entertainment.

This week construction began on the road in front of our house. I am not looking forward to this summer in the slightest if today was any indication of what we are in for. The water company is replacing the lines in front of our house and the state is also tearing out the entire road. The work on the waterlines began today. My children stayed on our front porch for the entire day completely entranced by the construction equipment. It was the best free entertainment they have gotten for a long time. From a totally comfortable position on our porch they were able to watch every single move the workers made. At least I know someone is happy about all the dust and dirt.
