Mini hoop house!

Each spring I make a list for my husband of the projects I would like to accomplish with his help over the summer. At the top of my list was building a mini hoop house for one of our raised garden beds. I had looked a number of designs and finally narrowed my choice to a style that was hinged so a could lift it up to work. My wonderful husband used his vacation time to build the frame of the house and yesterday we put the plastic on it. It is already steamy inside and it has only been about 24 hours since we put the plastic on. I am very excited to get some plants out there and see how it performs. Our temperatures are still pretty cold during the night and I need to see just how warm the hoop house stays during these cold spells before putting any tender plants out there.
