Just a little while longer...

My children are just itching to get outside and play. The weather here has slowly been warming up but it is still pretty cold. Despite the sun shining brightly the temperatures are still around 20 degrees during the day. To top things off we have had flooding. The water is slowly going away but not quickly enough for my kids. Our local playground has been so flooded that you can only see the tops of the commercial playground equipment. There have been ducks swimming around the swing sets. Every time we drive past the playground the children ask me if they can go boating at the playground. I know that all the water will be gone soon enough but my children don't see it that way.
