Half a night of sleep.

In prior posts I have mentioned that I have trouble sleeping. For many years I took over the counter sleeping pills to help me sleep. I decided about 6 months ago to quit taking anything to help me sleep. I was convinced that my body could eventually reset its internal clock if given time. For some reason for the last couple of weeks I have been waking up in the middle of the night feeling fully rested. In the middle of the night I find myself awake and staring at the ceiling. One night I got up and redecorated our living room. This has been fine until the afternoon comes and I find myself completely exhausted. Now I am beginning to wonder what I can do get a full night of sleep without resorting to a medicine.
