Not a trend follower...

My older son has so many awesome qualities that I remind myself daily to be thankful for. This week I was reminded of yet another one that I have to share. For the last few months I have not told my son he needed a haircut or suggested that he get one. I decided to let him make his own decisions about his hair. There are some trends in boys hair right now that I think are a little silly looking but have elected not to comment. I wanted to see if my son was aware of these longer hairstyles and would want to follow the trend. As it turns out my son is once again oblivious to trends in the world. He informed me this week that he needed a haircut and couldn't stand the hair in his eyes for one day longer. Once again the child walks to the beat of his own drum and I love him for it.
