Lots of learning.

One of my goals for the coming year is to work on reactivating my audiology licenses. I placed them on inactive status when I left my professional field to work from home opportunities. I am actually looking forward to learning about the changes in my field in the last few years. One area that I am particularly looking forward to is taking a class on evoked potentials. I used to do quite a bit of this type of testing but could surely use a refresher course. I vaguely remember purchasing the ENG system and medical computer carts for my last employer but not much more. I am sure it will all come back to me once I start the course. It will be very interesting to see how the test equipment and procedures have changed in the last 4-5 years. Even though I have no intention of returning to work in my profession in the near future I feel it is important to not let my training and education slip to the wayside.
