List time...

We received our annual email from my in-laws requesting my children put together lists for them of gifts they might like for Christmas. I love the generosity that they bestow upon my children but sometimes wish they would reign it in a little bit. They buy virtually anything my children put on their lists. This is especially true when it comes to my oldest son. If he asked his grandfather for rfid blocking wallets I can be absolutely sure that he would get one at Christmas. This year I have counseled my son that he needs to really consider the things he asks for and what he is actually going to use. We have countless robotic toys that sit in his closet. Next to them are an equal amount of radio controlled toys that have collected dust almost since they were opened. I won't even begin to tell you about the Wii games that are still in their plastic cases and have never touched the actual Wii.
