Last weekend we finally bottled our first batch of homemade wine from the conical fermentor. My husband had made wine one time previous to this but not using the conical. That first batch was a disaster to say the least. I am not trying to urge him to switch gears and to give making home brewed beer a try. I can only use so much wine in cooking and can at least use beer for a few different things. Beer is great in soups and stews as well as in baking bread. We aren't big drinkers of anything and do this more more for something to do together as a hobby.
