Everyone is moving.

We left our old neighborhood about two years ago. In the last couple of month everyone that we were friends with in the neighborhood has listed their homes for sale. I am glad that we moved when we did because I cannot imagine competing with scads of other other houses within a stones throw. The housing market right now is not great from what I can tell. It kind of makes me wonder why all of them have their homes listed at such insanely high prices. In fact our old house is listed for sale at $12,000 more than we sold it for. The only thing that they appear to have done to the house it to put a new floor in the kitchen. I feel very blessed to have moved on and into the house that we are living in. It isn't fancy or updated with the newest things but it is home. I feel comfortable and happy here. Some day we will update some things but that isn't a priority at this point in time.
