Good plans.

This weekend we will be doing what you will find us doing almost every weekend (if possible). We will be heading out into the woods to live in the wilderness. What I mean is that we will be camping. I have met tons of people who do not consider camping to be a vacation but I feel quite differently about it. We leave behind technology and instead spend time focusing on the world around us. Our children are free to marvel at the sight of fireflies and listen in the dark for wildlife around our campsite. We meet people we might otherwise not meet and learn to make do with less. Every night may not be the best night of sleep we ever get but when we get home our beds always feel amazing. A deck of cards provide hours of entertainment and a fire not only provides ambiance but cooks a great meal. People who don't enjoy camping to me miss out on the really simple yet exquisite wonders of life.
