Beans...

When we put in our gardens this year we had a goal of getting as many green beans as possible. We planted our 25 x25 foot spot at the community garden entirely in various types of green beans. We have already harvested almost 70 pounds of beans! This has surpassed my expectations by so much. We are likely to pick 1 or 2 more times this summer from the way things look. I have already canned 120 pints of beans and would love to get another 30-40 pints. My family loves green beans and I have no problem feeding them to them several nights a week. I also love knowing that the beans they are eating are organic and pesticide free!
