Fun little car.

Last weekend we picked up our new car. I have to admit that despite not driving it before hand that it has been a pleasure to drive thus far. My father-in-law was able to get us a great deal on this particular car through his employer. He works for a major auto manufacturer and is able to get special deals on lease vehicles. We are now going to have to watch for daily deals on some gadgets we need for the car. This car has all sorts of bells and whistles that we are not used to having. For example this car has a camera to help you back up. I simply cannot get used to the idea of looking at a monitor screen to figure out how to back up. It is pretty much a distraction rather than being a help. I have read that we can run a portable dvd player through the system and use this screen as an additional means of viewing videos in the front of the car. This sounds like it would be handy on long trips with the kids. We have yet to figure out many other features of the car but are certainly having fun learning.
