Big brother.

It has occurred to me this week just how big of an influence one child can be on another. Our boys are spaced just about seven years apart. It wasn't until the last six months that I could really see just how much my younger son looks up to his older brother. If our older son wears blue jeans then the little guy wants to wear them as well. When our older son builds with his erector set then then little guy also needs to build his version of prototype 37c or whatever the newest project is being called. Doing school work is something the little guy now wants to do right along side his older brother. I am working on reinforcing with my older son just how much his behavior influences his little brother. I always remember being told that as a parent that our children are always learning from us but this is clearly true for siblings as well.
