A nice surprise.

For as long as I can remember we have celebrated all major holidays at my parent's house. My mom has always seemed to be very much against having dinner anywhere else out of some sense of tradition. I mentioned to her today that we haven't worked out the details of Easter dinner yet. She was surprised and had apparently forgotten that Easter was not very far away. I then suggested that we have dinner here at our house and she agreed! I am actually pretty happy about this because I enjoy cooking and would love to have our family celebrate here for a change. We have turkey that needs cooking and I will make some simple sides and whatnot. It will be really fun for the boys to have a "big" dinner at their house. My older brother is going to bring his girlfriend which is a nice change since she has never been here. Should be a good time!
