Texting...

I am one of those people who does not understand texting. I just don't see the point in it and wonder why so many people are so deeply devoted to it. My son keeps asking for a cell phone but I won't get him one. I have no idea who he would call at this point but he doesn't see what I am talking about. It drives me crazy to see teens stuck to their phone like that. I tell him when he pays for it himself he can have his own rules. It kills me to listen to some parents complain about their children being on the phone all the time when you know that the parents are paying for the phone service. I would stop paying for the phone bill and see just how much texting or talking takes place.
