Raising boys.
When I listen to the parents I know who are raising daughters I have to admit I am glad to be raising boys. Each day I listen to one or more of my friends complain about how hormonal they daughter's are. It almost sounds like they come out of the womb in need of differin and suffering from PMS. I don't know that I have the character to do deal with all of the emotional upheaval that raising a daughter would bring. I know that had I given birth to a daughter I would feel differently. From where I stand now I know that the occasion tantrum is about as bad as it gets in our house and that is just fine with me. I would hate to think that right now I could be dealing with all the drama that other Mom's I know are dealing with.
