Groggy mommy...

There are days when I daydream about running off to a Anaheim California hotel or someplace else exotic. Today is not one of those days. Our toddler ended up in bed with us last night and needless to say only one person in the bed got a good night's sleep. If I could I would fall asleep right here at the desk but there is still much work to be done before I can turn in. It is funny how as a parent you pick your battles. Despite not sleeping a wink getting our kiddo back to sleep in his own bed wasn't a battle we wanted to have at 2 a.m. and now I am paying the price.
