A Little Envious

My brother just bought his first house and we went over to see it this weekend. There are so many great features of his house aside from the size and layout that I love. The prior owners really took the time to add those finer details that make a house warm and inviting. In one room of his house there is this beautiful fireplace with an incredibly realistic gas log. When lit it not only warmed the room nicely but just added a cozy welcoming feel. This fireplace was installed as backup heat in the case of power failure. While portable heaters would accomplish the same thing I really love the look of this fire place and gas log. It has me thinking we might need to add one to our home. There are a number of great options available on Desatech.com that would be perfect for our family room. Here in the northeast having a backup means of heat is always a wise idea and gas is so much cleaner and more efficient than wood.
