Q: I am trying to find if I have any duplicate title and description tags within the site, but there are many pages to do it manually. Is there a tool that does this?
Xenu's Link Sleuth will make a report of all the titles in the site
Dreamweaver can do a regular expression search of all files in a defined site
EditPlus can do a regular expression search of files on your hard drive.
My favorite* html editor also has a plugin for multiple file searching. Or search and replace too if you ever need to do that like I seem to. It's HTML-Kit. The plugin you'll be looking for is called cmbatchfind. To perform both search and replace you would also need the cmbatchreplace plugin.
