Clearing the land...

We spent last weekend camping and clearing land... My parents own a great deal of land and offered to let us clear some of it to put in a garden. In addition to the garden we are going to be planting some fruit trees. The area we are clearing used to have a garden on it about 15 years ago. Thankfully it did not have any trees that needed cut down but there is tons of brush that have taken over the area. We worked for about 6 hours and managed to clear a 50 square foot section. My mom insisted on using Roundup on the area after we cleared it which does not thrill me but I couldn't stop her. Hopefully by next year it will have washed away from the area...
