From scratch getting more expensive...

Baking from scratch is usually a good way to save money. I have been baking and cooking most of our meals this way for the last year or so. As we are all aware food prices have become increasingly higher. Today I needed to stock up on some of my bulk baking supplies at my local bulk food store. I knew prices would be higher than my last visit about 6 months ago. I have to say that they were much higher than I would have liked. Most of the things I routinely buy had risen in price by about 50%. I realize the prices I had been paying were dirt cheap but this is was a significant change. It is still going to be cheaper to make things myself but not as much as I would like.
