Decisions...decisions...

For the last year I have not made very many impulsive buys. In fact we haven't bought very much aside from Christmas presents that was an absolute necessity. It isn't that we don't have the money to buy things but rather that we are trying not just buy stuff for the sake of buying it. I buy as much as possible from thrift stores as long as it is in good shape and usable. There was a time when shopping for new things was a pleasure and came with ease. Now that I see life a bit differently I have have a hard time making a decision about buying new things. I almost over think things. For example we need a new tea kettle. My husband left ours on the burner for too long and it just looks horrible. I decided to start looking for one and ran across what is called an electric kettle. It seems like a perfect solution but we really like the look of a tea kettle sitting on the stove. I just can't decide between the classic look we love and the practicality of an electric kettle?
