Christmas Brains...

I cannot imagine what teacher's in traditional public schools must endure this time of year with distracted children. Having two kids at home with what I refer to as "Christmas Brain" makes our home schooling day seem endless. I cannot get my children to focus because they know that our Christmas vacation officially starts on Friday. It seems like every 5 minutes one of them is asking me a question that is not related to school but is focused 100% on Christmas. I understand that this is a huge holiday for them because we don't tend to spoil them during the year. I just cannot imagine trying to keep a classroom full of children with a similar mental distraction focused in a typical classroom.
