Not a sporting group.

Last night my family sat around and watched a marathon of documentaries on our television. We are geeky. There is no other way to put it. I can't think of a single sport than any of us cares about or even has watched in the last several years. This isn't to say I don't respect the television choices that other people make. I just don't happen to be married to someone who cares about atv racing, basketball, or any other sport. Our children are not particularly athletic and prefer to exercise their minds. They are active but not in organized sports. I do think sports are great for children who are driven to play them but I am not parenting these types of kids. My children like to ride their bikes or help me in the garden more than any thing else. I am quite content to have them stay this way because I wouldn't have a clue how to help learn any sport whatsoever.
