Everything is blocked.

We haven't really tried out the school computers for things other than school. This morning my younger son wanted to play on some of the websites he visits on my computer. Because my computer was tied up for other things I decided to try using his school computer. I have to admit that I was a bit surprised to find out that most of the preschool websites he likes were blocked by the school. It isn't like we are randomly visiting websites. The child wanted to visit PBS to watch educational videos. I understand that they want control over what students are using the computers for and to prevent them from just mindlessly clicking on things that say "click here for biotin" or click here for "fun and games". What I don't understand is blocking websites that have legitimate educational value. Weird but I guess that is not my decision to make.
