School is just about over.

Having a child who is always eager to learn is one of my greatest joys from home schooling. I listen to other parents complain about how difficult their children are to get motivated. My son will work on pretty much anything without argument. Math is the only subject that he balks at working on. He struggles with math and I can see why working on it would not be his first choice. I assume that at one point in the future his attitude may change but for now I am so thankful that he loves to learn. Yesterday, he decided to pick up my copy of "Slow Food Nation" and start reading it. The day before that it was my copy of "The Tightwad Gazette". How many other ten year old children are willing to read such obscure information?
