Little seedlings

Our little seedlings are finally beginning to show signs of life. About 75% of the seeds that we planted have started to poke up little green shoots. Last year we had pretty decent success with our homemade earth boxes and are hoping to expand on that this year. In the works are some plans for a small hoop style greenhouse and some raised planting beds. We could borrow a rototiller for the job but raised bed just seem easier at this point. We have source for cheap compost nearby and dirt. Hopefully the warm weather returns to these parts soon and we can get to work on the beds. With any luck we will have the bed done in time to put these little plants into the earth.My children are loving the idea of growing things and every day is exciting for them as they see more and more growth.
