For those of you who have been asking these are the directions for planting upside down without buying an expensive kit!
Take any old hanging type pot, like you would use for patio plants. Drill a hole in the bottom large enough to get your fingers and the seedling plant in.
Turn pot "up." Place a coffee filter over the hole so the dirt doesn't all run out.
Fill with potting soil. Put a piece of cardboard, plywood, whatever on top of pot so the dirt doesn't all run out when you tip it up.
Tip pot over so small hole is up. Poke a hole in the coffee filter with an old knife or a screwdriver.
Plant seeds or seedling.
Water it through the hole with cardboard still on what is temporarily the bottom of the pot.
When roots are established, turn pot over and hang from any sturdy place where there is a lot of sunlight/warmth.
Water regularly, use a little plant food. I use Miracle-Gro (Can I say that here?)
After ab
