Getting greener...

I have been reading up on true organic, fair trade products and am looking to switch an eco-friendly soap/laundry detergent. So I was wondering if anyone has first hand experience with this Dr. Bronner's soaps and how well did they work in your laundry/ in your household? I'm even open to other suggestions for other products, if anyone has any.
