Create sticky content. Any interactive and addictive media can be used.
If you already have your site registered on google and you are planning to change your site or re-design. DONT take the site down and re-upload. DONT delete the files on the server.
Just be chance google decides to scan you site for content, when your site is down or has nothing on it, will mean google wont return for ages. You'll also probably lose your page ranking.
Search for your website using the keywords of your desire from multiple computers every week and only go to your website (even if it's on on a double digits page) and google will begin to understand that people using those keywords are really looking for your website .
