Affiliate programs

Affiliate programs are a way for other people to monetize your blog while you make money as well.

The web definition of affiliate programs is: "Affiliate programs allow Web sites who provide links to your site to receive payments or reciprocal advertising in exchange for promoting your Web site."

There are an endless number of these types of programs out there. You should spend time researching the program and try to find others who have actually been paid to discuss their experience.

I look at well know blogs with high traffic levels to see what they are using as my starting point and work from there. Most of these programs take time to turn a profit but grow as your blog ages and traffic builds.
