Always a tough decision.

For the most part our Christmas shopping is generally pretty easy to accomplish. Most of the people on our shopping list have fairly simple wants or needs. I love when people are just happy that you thought of them and make you feel secure that your gift was well chosen. We do however have one person on our list that is impossible to buy for. It never fails that whatever we buy is either the wrong size, cut, or inferior to what he would choose for himself. I really believe that we could give him an all inclusive trip to one of those luxurious negril hotels and he would find fault with it. Every year I try to let it slide when he complains or asks immediately for the receipt so that he can exchange his gift but it is still hard. You would think that someone in their 60's would have learned somewhere along the path of life how to be gracious but thus far he hasn't. I wish that giving him a gift certificate was the answer but even that has failed in the past.
